Harry Reid manufactures a crisis
For the third time in a year, Congress is looking at a possible government shutdown. Politicians must pass a short-term spending bill in order to keep government running, and the House of Representatives passed a bill that offsets spending on disaster relief funds with cuts to wasteful programs, including a loan program that gave over $500 million to Obama’s favorite bankrupt company, Solyndra.
With the amount of debt that the country has allowed to pile up, the House of Representatives has shown a mature step in the right direction: we cannot continue to increase spending into perpetuity. If there are items that we must pay for, we need to offset those appropriations with cuts to programs that we, quite frankly, don’t need.
Unsurprisingly, the Democrat-led Senate killed the House appropriations bill, manufacturing an impending government shutdown in order to defend government spending on these wasteful programs. Not only that, but Harry Reid and his minions have the audacity to blame the Tea Party for the game of chicken they are playing over these wasteful programs!
At the end of the day, we can’t be surprised by the actions of the big-government liberals in the Senate. They will stop at nothing to protect and advance their ideological agenda of increasing the size and scope of the federal government. But what we can do is take notice, remember their refusal to represent our values, and vote them out of office in 2012!

Harry Reid, (my senator, I am sorry to say) is a Progressive crook, liar, thief and all-around nasty little man. He used big labor to force his re-election and those of us who live in the beautiful state of (northern) Nevada, hate the SOB!!!
SOB is not a strong enough discription for this Very Tired Old Man – I am a Senior, Senior who has more common sense then Reid has – - He has lived in this Country many years, enjoyed all the freedom it has to offer – where are his brains – Certainly not in his head – he belongs in an ??? u name the Home!
He belongs in Sherriff Arpaio tent prison wearing pink jumpsuits. They all need to be tried for high treason and put down at sunrise. Period.
We all know that… I’m from Connecticut and I couldn’t believe that with seemingly an overwhelming MAJORITY of voters in your state seemed to HATE ole’ Harry, that he ‘magically’ won re-election… yeah right!

Union unreasonable demands have bankrupted a number of American cities and there are more falling! I personally believe that damn near the entire Democratic Party is a bunch of SOCIALISTIC morons, trying to change our country into another China or Russia or whatever! The Democratic Party needs to be voted down and out, until we can get some reasonable, responsible “REAL” Americans into office!

The hardest thing for Harry Reid to come to grips with is that there are now more than just a few American people that are aware of the way Washington does and has done business and what it means to the American way of life. If Harry Reid and his Minions want to continue their political carreer, it will need to be in the Politburo. There they can find an entire country that is well used to propaganda and well use to buying into it.
I was really surprised that he was not voted out last time in the election. Hopefully the rest of the Nevada folks will get him out of office soon.
So shut down the government. it would save money and perhaps wake up more people . The republicans must not cave on this again . shows what wimps they turned out to be the last time .

Why don’t congress take a 10% cut in pay, that is what we do in private business when times are tough?
I am quite sick to death of these progressive liberals or Democrats or whatever they choose to call themselves. They are like little children. When my children acted like they do they got a good swat on the backside. I think that if some of these folks would have gotten a swat instead of a pat on the head we’d all be better off.

It is a shame and a disgrace to the United States of America that a man like Harry Reid is allowed to serve in our Congress. Like Obama, he will do any thing that he possibly can to ruin our present form of government, and turn it into a socialist (communist) government. What has happened to the good old fashioned working class” They have allowed gangster to take over their unions, and now they are allowing gangster, crooks, cheats, liars, and muslims to occupy our White House. Harry Reid cares nothing all about the fact that millions have lost their jobs, their homes, and their pride in being Americans. All he cares about is maintaining power so that he can destroy us. When the newly elected Republicans, and a few Democrats, wanted to do what they had promised, reduce the debt, curtail spending, the liberal Democrats (socialists) in the Senate, under the orders of Harry Reid, tabled the bill presented to them without even reading it. Obama had already threatened to veto it, without even knowing what was in it. It is obvious that ruining our form of government, end establishing a socialist one, is more important to them, the the welfare of the citizens of this country. We are a free and independent people, and we have the right to determine our own destiny. This right was given to us by our forefathers, outlined in our Constitution. It is up to us to stand up and fight for those rights, no matter how hard it might be. Cam we do less to save our way of life, than our forefathers did to give it to us?
We need term limits, when senile old men are voting and worse In charge of the Senate it shows it’s way past time for term limits. I’ve written my AG and asked that he and others start procedures against Holder, Obama, Pelosi and Reid for treason, they definetly do no “Uphold and defend the Constitution” Obama sees himself as a dictator and is as bad if not worse than Chavez.
How about totally ceasing all non-emergency spending? This means grants, loans, TARP, all pork, and nonessential government operations.
The result would be that we would still survive, and the people would see that we did not really rely on the government to take care of us from cradle to grave.
(Now where have I heard that before. – - Could it be in our founding documents?)

Isn’t it time we take a page out of the hard left’s book and figure out how to take direct action? I don’t think we should adopt literally their tactics (see Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and
Stanley Kurtz’s Radical-In-Chief). But we need to think carefully about how the Tea Party could begin to go beyond petitioning and funding election contests and showing up in force at town hall meetings.
The issue as I see it is how do we make it so unprofitable for our political leaders to pander to those who do not produce the wealth that our nation depends on that the leaders begin to listen to the producers?
What makes anyone think that by electing a lot of RINOsocialists anything will change?
I propose the following idea, to be spread across this Country: Institute a Class Action suit against those who want to spend our Country into the proverbial Hole.
Sue them, and while we are suing them, we bring a second suit against them to make them dig into their pockets, and the pockets of those who got them elected to the US Congress, and tell them they either pay to keep the govt afloat, or they go broke along with the govt.
If we can force them to look at the Bottom Line, and what this uncontrolled spending brings, and the future of uncontrolled spending, then maybe, we can save this Country.
This idea needs to go before the majority of Americans in this Country, and be, if necessary, “Shouted from the Street Corners, and Roof Tops”.
We need to tell those who want to spend this country into oblivion, that “Enough is Enough!”. If we don’t get this message out, then we will find our selves with out a “Pot to pee into, nor a window to through it out of!”
I was watching some of the Dems tonight and they were saying the Repubs are holding things up again. Someone better hold the line on the Dems while there is something left to hold the line on.

When I saw the leader of the House , slobbering all over Nancy Pelosi, and then giving her a kiss on the cheek, I almost vomited… When I see Obama, Boehner, Kasich, and I can’t remember the fourth person, go out and play golf together, that tells me the fix is in.
What are we going to do folks ??? We can’t vote soon enough to get rid of the crooks. They have time to do their dirty work, and we have to wait years to vote. Our RINO’s will not start impeachment proceedings or file law suites for treason.

I agree with everyone, The liberals like obama and reid are trying to change america into a socialist society. You have to be blind and support racial issues not to see what is going on. I still believe obama will get elected, I am saying this in spite of what i want. Both are trying to pit latinos and blacks against white. I have said this in the past and i will say it again, this election is about race. When obama passed the administrative amnesty bill against what most americans want,…its all about the next welfare voters.
I still believe that illegals voted for reid at the last minute, but we already know our government will not enforce the voting laws as they refuse to enforce immigration laws. they are against what is good for america…..Its all about votes,and most of the voters obama is seeking are from the minority class. Has anyone heard obama wanting the american votes? I guarentee he did not ask for the white male votes, and you will not. God I hate this adminstration.
It’s time to get rid of all of the Senators and Representatives and start a new. Start it again without all the lawyers. And put conservative Americans on the Bench. BTW, you don’t have to be a lawyer to be a Judge. You just need to be smart enough to research, read, conduct analysis, speek publicly, and write – so people can understand your ruling.
